David Ramirez

Hi! My name is David Ramirez, and I am a rising senior attending Dulles High School. I’ve developed a strong dedication towards my swimming career and volunteering with the Food Lounge over the years. I am currently the team captain at my school and am proud to be a member of the Gulf Swimming Scholastic Team, Fort Bend ISD Student Athletic Leadership Team, and TISCA  Academic All-State Team. I love how my sport constantly challenges me to strive for self-improvement and learn to endure the hardships it brings.

Aside from my sport, I believe in the impact that volunteering has on society. There are people in need, and giving back to the community is necessary to make a change in their lives. I’ve been volunteering with food organizations ever since I was in middle school, doing my best to help individuals and families. My experiences have taught me the importance of the unity that the Food Lounge offers. Volunteering has shown me that even small actions can have a meaningful impact on someone’s life, and it has inspired me to continue serving my community whenever possible.
