Emily Tauhert

Emily is a senior at Plano West High School. She is a musician, playing the flute in both the school wind ensemble as well as the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra. She is drum major at Plano West where she leads the band through the marching season. Emily is also an aspiring artist, developing her skills in both drawing and painting. In her spare time she enjoys ice skating, giving back to the community, and traveling. Emily is looking forward to continuing volunteering with The Food Lounge and increasing its impact on the Dallas community.
