Lucy Zeng 

Zichang (Lucy) Zeng is a senior at Highland Park High School. After serving as the Vice President of Fundraising for The Food Lounge for two consecutive years (2022-2024), she started the Highland Park/Dallas branch of The Food Lounge and served as its Executive Director. Lucy is a Woodwind Captain & Flute Section leader of high school marching band and a key leader assistant player in the high school Varsity Girls Water Polo team. As a flutist/Piccolo performer in the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (GDYO)，she has performed in Morton H. Meyerson Symphony center to audiences of 1000+ since 2022. She performed a flute solo at the Solitär, Mozarteum in Salzburg in 2024. In her free time, she is actively involved in the VEX Robotics Club and world competitions. In addition to her AI research pursuits, Lucy enjoys skiing, playing chess and piano, painting, singing, rock climbing and traveling. She has a passion for serving the community, having led and organized various volunteer events, including music charity performances and nursing home concerts. She enjoys contributing to the community.
