Kevin Yang

Kevin is a senior at NCSSM Durham. He is an officer for his school’s astronomy club. He also leads Science Bowl, and hopes to compete at Nationals one last time in 2027. He is also a part of his school’s wind ensemble, where he plays the clarinet. He also likes to practice and sight-read new songs on the piano.

Recently, he’s been spending his free time (more than he ever has) learning about the majestic orientation of stars in our sky and training his pattern recognition skills.

Through The Food Lounge, he hopes to lead the way for new generations of students to give back to their communities, and enjoy volunteering activities as much as he does.
