Ethan Pi

Ethan Pi is a rising 8th grader at Rice Middle School. He enjoys a wide range of school and social activities such as vocalizing, piano, debate, badminton, basketball, and many more. He has been venerated as First Chair Tenor II in the All-Region Choir for Region 25. In addition, Ethan has been a memorable part of the Greater Dallas Choral Society (GDCS), the Dallas Cantonese Opera Society, and many other notable choirs. He sings music like a science and peruses through songs of classic, pop, secular, and religious genres. As for Speech and Debate, Ethan is one of the five Oral Interpretation captains for the Rice Speech Team. He is a four-time finalist in Humorous Interpretation, earning 4 medals and 3 trophies in his seventh-grade speech career. In March 2024, he was announced as the Plano City Champion for Humorous Interpretation to conclude his record for the 23-24 school year.

In his free time, he enjoys embarking on neighborhood walks, reading long books off his bucket list, biking, chess and many other two-player games. This being his first year with the Food Lounge program, he has assisted in packing food for welfare distributions, participated in the Deliverance Alley sector in Dallas, and led a mall fundraising performance under the name of this organization. His promise is to continue working with the Food Lounge nonprofit and pursue his further contributions.
