Aiden Lu

Aiden is currently a freshman at Cary Academy High School. He enjoys competing in math competitions, and has won awards at competitions such as Mathcounts, Wake Tech. Aiden also enjoys playing soccer and he has played for NCFC and the Cary Academy Middle School and Upper School teams. Aiden has also played the piano for eight years.

Aiden joined the Food Lounge sixth grade to try to help the community and people in need. He started volunteering many weekends at the Brown Bag Ministry helping pack lunches for people without access to food. Through his Journey through Food Lounge, Aiden has learned many important skills such as leadership, and learning how to collaborate with partners.

Now as a member of the Food Lounge community, Aiden hopes to expand Food Lounge and help others in his school and area to also have the opportunity to create a change in their community. He believes that along with the North Carolina community, Food Lounge can truly make a difference.
