2026 Summer 1000 Meals Challenge

The 2026 Summer 1,000 Meals Challenge is a student-led community service campaign organized by The Food Lounge Charlotte Chapter. Throughout the summer, volunteers will participate in fundraising, food drives, volunteer service, and community outreach that support local hunger-relief efforts. By working alongside our nonprofit partners, we aim not only to provide meals but also to inspire young people to become compassionate leaders and active members of their community.

Volunteers are requested to arrive 10 minutes early to get checked in and to stay the entire shift. Anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late will be asked to reschedule.Remember that everyone must be at least 17 years old – no exceptions.
