Alex Gan

My name is Alex Gan, and I am currently a senior at Mclean High School. I have a strong interest in coding, engineering, and economics. I’ve used coding to conduct research across multiple subjects, including nitrogen dioxide levels and the blockchain. I am a co-captain of the FIRST Tech Challenge Team 23929, the Double Quarter Pounders. I’ve also led McLean’s Investment Club for the past four years, where I share investing insights and discuss current events. Beyond academics, I love to swim, cook, and practice cardistry. Community service is extremely valuable to me. I’ve conducted multiple outreach events at schools, libraries, and community centers where I teach children about robotics and share my experiences with it. I am excited to help others with the Food Lounge.
