Kuncheng Zhao, Treasurer (Millburn Chapter)
Kuncheng (Kunson) Zhao is a rising junior at Millburn High School, New Jersey. He excels in this environment with a rigorous academic curriculum consisting of all honor classes and AP-level courses. His academic accomplishments are matched with his passion for music, proven by his five-year experience of playing the cello. Along with music, drawing has also been one of his favorite activities, winning many awards to show his creativity.
In addition to his academic and artistic path, Kuncheng is an outstanding athlete in epee fencing, having one of the best records in the state with 73 wins and 3 losses, despite only being on the school team for two years. Not only that, he has also accumulated many awards and trophies from tournaments outside of school fencing. This and his successful career as the defensive end on his school’s football team show his skill and competitive nature
In his pursuit of giving back to his community, Kuncheng tutors his peers and other students in need during his spare time to assist them in achieving their best in their academic journeys. His various volunteer contributions, especially in the Food Lounge, demonstrate his goal of helping others.
Being an extremely social individual, Kuncheng thrives in environments where he can engage with people to build deep connections, making him a natural people person. His interests also stretch to finance, math, and marketing, areas in which he has demonstrated with his participation in school clubs.
Kuncheng’s multifaceted talents and dedication to both personal and community growth make him an aspiring leader and he cannot wait to engage more in the Food Lounge organization.
