June 13, 2026 – Rays of Light
Four students from The Food Lounge accompanied two kids from Rays of Light for the special Summer Splash event. The students helped the kids stay safe outside in the sun on the various pools and slides. Additionally, they played with the kids indoors and helped them make friends and have fun. Overall, the kids at Rays of Light had a lot of fun and the volunteers were glad to help.

Volunteers decorated trunks, distributed Halloween candies, and did art crafts with refugee, immigrant, and under-resourced children for a Trunk or Treat event.
