 At the GRACE donation station, these volunteers unloaded donations from vehicles, sorted and organized books, toys, and jewelry.

July 13, 2024 (Saturday) – Charities2Love, Coppell

At the Coppell Library in collaboration with Charities2Love, these volunteers filled 72 Backpacks and 30 Brown Bags with essential school supplies, composed notecards with loving and encouraging words, and decorated bookmarks for underprivileged and under-resourced elementary schoolers so they can have a successful start to the school year.

June 16, 2024 (Sunday) – Grill Event, Fort Worth

in collaboration with FORT WORTH FIVE Loaves and Two Fish Outreach, food lounge members completed community service at Annual Grill for Homeless Event in Fort Worth, TX. Volunteers distributed water, soda, and frozen popsicles . Scott, a member of the Cathedral of Hope, provided the 180 water/soda.

March 2, 2024 (Saturday) – Charities2Love, Southlake

FL volunteers completed community service at  1240 Bent Creek Drive, Southlake, TX 76092. Volunteers put together 100 reusable string bags with 18 items, such as coloring books and fleece blankets, along with a handwritten note to encourage and support kids undergoing cancer treatment in the rural areas of Texas. We appreciate all volunteers’ time and effort. 

January 13, 2023 (Saturday) – Charity2Love

FL volunteers made around 600 meals, which will be distributed by 3 organizations (Caring Compassionate Hearts & Helping Hands, Inclement Weather Shelter, and Irving day shelter) to the homeless individuals to survive the next few extremely cold days.

November 4, 2023 (Saturday) – Charity2Love

On November 4, volunteers from The Food Lounge completed community service at Charity2Love in Southlake. Volunteers assisted disadvantaged children identified by Kid’s Matter in their shopping experience, guiding them through the store, helping them find clothes, and keeping track of the amount of money they have spent, staying within the budget of $100. Volunteers helped refold clothes, maintained the clothes racks and cleaned up as needed. 

September 16, 2023 (Saturday) – Charity2Love

Five volunteers from The Food Lounge completed community service at Charities2Love. Volunteers put together 200 “I SEE YOU” boxes with items, short notes/affirmations and bracelets saying: “seen, worthy, loved” to be delivered to women in shelters who are survivors of domestic violence, helping them to regain their self-worth and self-esteem.
