8/1/26 Vickery Meadow Summary:
On August 1, 2026, 1 student volunteer and 1 adult volunteer from The Food Lounge helped Vickery Meadow Food Pantry Clothes Closet pack over 600 lbs of potatoes, and distribute canned foods, rice, oatmeal, dried beans, milk, eggs, cheeses, and meat to families in need. Total of 183 families received these foods. 37 households had 7 or more family members. The volunteers were very happy to help give back to the communityand make an impact on these people’s lives.

Aug 1,2006, 7 student volunteers helped with restocking, sorting, packing and distributing food to families in need.
July 23, 2026 ( Thursday) – Community Garden Kitchen
On July 23, 2026 , 2 student volunteers completed community service at CGK in McKinney. They worked at a community kitchen as dining servers, serving cooked food to the people who are in need.

On July 11,2006, 3 student volunteers completed community service at ACEing Autism at UTD. They helped to create fun and social interaction for children with autism through tennis.

On February 20, 2026, 2 student volunteers and 1 adult volunteer from The Food Lounge helped Vickery Meadow Food Pantry Clothes Closet. Volunteers distribute bags of produce including a variety of fruits, herbs, and vegetables to 185 families. We appreciate all volunteers’ time and effort.
