December 13, 2025 (Saturday) – Vickery Meadows Food Pantry Clothes Closet
On December 13th, 2025, 2 student volunteers and 2 adult volunteers from The Food Lounge helped Vickery Meadow Food Pantry Clothes Closet pack bags of food and distribute them to the people in need in Vickery Meadow neighborhood, including diverse immigrant and refugee neighbors. The volunteers were able to pack and distribute over 205 bags of food, including fresh vegetables, protein/meat, fruit, water, canned food, eggs, and snacks, and helped distribute to 205 families. Approximately 6,432 pounds of food were given out. 1.2 pounds is considered a meal for one person. So 5,630 meals were served. The volunteers were very happy to help give back to the community and make an impact on these people’s lives.

On December 6, 2025, 4 student volunteers completed community service at Amazing Grace Food Panty at Wylie(1711 Parker Rd, Wylie, TX). They helped restocking shelves, sorting, packing, and distributing food for families in need. Together, we packed and distributed boxes of food for 235 families.
November 22, 2025 (Saturday) – ACEing Autism at UTD
On November 22, 2025, 3 students completed community service at ACEing Autism at UTD. They helped to create a fun and social
atmosphere for children with autism through tennis. Each volunteer was assigned 2-3 children for about an hour each.
November 8, 2025 (Saturday) – Vickery Meadows Food Pantry Clothes Closet
On November 8, 2025, 2 student volunteers and 1 adult volunteer from The Food Lounge helped Vickery Meadow Food Pantry Clothes Closet pack bags of food and distribute them to the people in need in Vickery Meadow neighborhood, including diverse immigrant and refugee neighbors. The volunteers were able to pack and distribute 308 bags with vegetables, fruits, protein/meat, water/drinks, snacks, canned food, eggs etc., which served 274 families. This included 491 adults, 497 children, and 46 seniors. The volunteers were very happy to help give back to the community and make an impact on these
people’s lives.

The volunteers were able to pack and distribute 217 bags of food with vegetables, fruits, protein/meat, water/drinks, snacks, canned food, eggs, fresh greens, etc., which served 373 children and 407 adults.The volunteers were very happy to help give back to the community and make an impact on these
people’s lives.

July 25, 2025 (Saturday) – Community Lifeline Center, McKinney
On July 25, 2025, 4 student volunteers completed community service at Community Lifeline Center in McKinney. They restocked shelves, cleaned the facility, giving back to the local community. We appreciate all volunteers’ time and effort.
July 19, 2025 (Saturday) – Vickery Meadow Food Pantry Clothes Closet
On July 19, 2025, 5 student volunteers and 1 adult volunteer from The Food Lounge helped Vickery Meadow Food Pantry Clothes Closet portion protein, pack paper bags with canned and dried goods, and assemble them into larger boxes that also included potatoes, flan, cheese, and milk. The completed food packages were then distributed to the people in need in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood, including diverse immigrant and refugee neighbors. The volunteers were able to pack and distribute 253 bags of food, serving 475 children and 511 adults, for a total of 1000 individuals across 253 households. The team was proud to support the community and contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of families in need.
